Follow these directions exactly
Take 2 egg whites and a pinch of cream of tartar beat till stiff and glossy. Slowy add 2/3 cup white sugar, to egg whites, beat till stiff. Add 6 drop of green or red food coloring and peppermint extract (about a ¼ tsp). Fold 1 pkg, (small) chocolate mint chips or chocolate chips.
Drop ½ tsp. Of dough on a buttered cookie sheet. Put cookies into hot oven. Important: Turn off oven. Do not open till open is cool. Cookies will continue to cook until oven is cool, recommended to leave overnite.
