Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients Instructions:
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 bunch of green onions (scallions)
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
1 tub cream cheese
a bunch of bulk mushrooms
shredded mozzarella cheese

The flavored cream cheeses work real good, I used onion and chive and garlic and herb on this batch but the honey nut works real good to.

Cook the breakfast sausage with the garlic and onions and the stems of the mushrooms chopped finely add as much of the garlic and onion to suit your taste while this is
cooking put the caps of the mushrooms in a baking dish in the oven at 350 (5 to 10 minutes) empty the excess water from the caps of the mushrooms. after the sausage mixture is cooked drain the grease from it. and stir in the cream cheese over a low heat just enough to help melt the cheese. remove from the heat and scoop the mixture into each of the mushroom caps. then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and put them back in the oven until the cheese browns.
